Workshop Charge
- Identify research needs and opportunities in cybersecurity for open science, with a focus on the DOE open science enterprise and its domestic and international open science participants
- To the extent that it shares common attributes with cybersecurity for the internet, include consideration of secure control systems in the energy sector
- Discuss any unique attributes that the inclusion of open science brings to cybersecurity and explore the implications these may have for cybersecurity research activities
- Suggest a definition of Cybersecurity Research for Open Science
- Suggest a set of Priority Research Directions for a program of cybersecurity research for open science (include secure control systems in the energy sector)
- Relate all findings and recommendations to the present and planned cybersecurity research activities of others
- Prepare a preliminary letter report within one week of workshop completion and follow with a full report within 60 days of workshop completion.
